Looking ahead to siliconmilkroundabout

By Marine Barbaroux - Last updated: Tuesday, November 21, 2017

Silicon milk roundaboutI can’t believe that in just a few days we’ll be at the siliconmilkroundabout recruitment event in London (25-26 November)!

I’m both anxious and excited: it’s going to be my first year but if I believe my colleagues who went last year (see photo) it will be full of energy, awesomeness and great conversations! I’m looking forward to meeting a varied crowd of people wanting to make the world a better place, and talking about what we do at Cambridge Consultants.

Before I started to work for Cambridge Consultants, I hadn’t realised the diversity of the work the company undertakes. Perhaps it’s because a lot of it is client confidential, and therefore not talked about very much. The net result, however, was I never picked up on conversations about them as employers, the type of projects they handle, or the people they recruit or anything like that. How ironic, given I live in Cambridge!

So, I like events like siliconmmilkroundabout, organised especially for us to explain what we do, which is much more than our name suggests. Yes, we are in Cambridge (but not only in Cambridge). And yes, we are consultants, but we’re much more than that. We’ve created a few videos and product demos to explain the incredible variety of what we do.

If you are around, please come and say hello. In particular, we’re looking for the following roles:

I hope to see you there!
